Date: 26-27 February 2024
Location: National Health Laboratory and Diagnostic Services (NHLDS), Kampala, Uganda
This workshop will provide hands-on experience preparing bacterial isolates for whole genome sequencing on the Oxford Nanopore sequencing platform. Colleagues across the One Health ministires will be able to use this to improve the resolution of AMR surveillance. This is part of a series of initiatives from the Digital One Health Laboratory that aims to bring together AMR stakeholders from various institutions across the One Health spectrum to increase the AMR surveillance capacity in Uganda and the region.
